1. Nature of the service
fastPDF Web ("the site") provides PDF and image tools that run locally in your browser, currently free of charge. All processing happens on your device; our servers never receive or store your file contents (the AI-feature data flow is described in the privacy notice).
2. Free tier
Free limits: 20MB per file, 3 runs per day, up to 5 files per batch. The counter lives in your browser's local storage; clearing browser data resets it. Payments are not integrated; until then every tool is fully usable within the free tier, watermark-free.
3. As-is and disclaimer
The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement). Browser capability varies by device and file: conversion results (especially B-tier layout-reconstruction tools) are bounded by the fidelity ceilings stated in each tool's UI. Always verify outputs before relying on them for important documents; to the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of the site.
4. Your content
Files you process remain yours; the site acquires no rights over them. You warrant that you have the legal right to process the files you submit and will not use the site for unlawful purposes (including circumventing protection on files you don't own, or processing infringing content).
5. Intellectual property
The site's interface, copy and code belong to the site operator; the open-source libraries it uses (pdf.js, pdf-lib, tesseract.js, etc.) remain under their respective licenses.
6. Changes
These terms may be updated as features and commercialization evolve; updates are published on this page with a revised date.
